what is determines what’s classified 11:02 so what is it about what Pete Hexath 11:05 wrote that makes you say this is not 11:07 classified well it’s not just me saying 11:08 that Peter it’s the Secretary of Defense 11:10 him himself who is saying this as well 11:13 uh and he put out a very strong 11:14 statement earlier today uh listing all 11:16 of the things that were not included in 11:18 that message that he sent to the group 11:20 and again this message there was no 11:22 classified information transmitted there 11:24 were no war plans discussed um why did 11:26 The Atlantic downgrade their allegation 11:29 about war plans to attack plans they’re 11:32 now playing word games because they know 11:33 this was sensationalist spin from a 11:35 reporter who is well known for doing 11:37 this we have said all along no war plans 11:39 were discussed no classified material 11:41 was sent you have the secretary of 11:43 defense saying that you have the 11:44 director of the CIA the director of 11:46 national intelligence the FBI director 11:48 all testifying to that under oath um and 11:51 they should be trusted with that to be 11:52 clear Americans can make the decision 11:53 for themselves but whether it’s you you 11:56 said it’s you said it’s not war plans 11:58 would you characterize these as military 12:02 plans military operation plans i would 12:04 characterize still 14:57 taken off what I can tell you is that 14:58 the president as the commander-in-chief 15:00 of our United States armed forces and 15:02 Secretary Pete Hags who is an incredible 15:05 man and a war fighter himself take the 15:08 lives of our American service members 15:10 with the utmost responsibility and they 15:12 would never do anything intentionally to 15:15 put the their lives at risk um and again 15:19 they are working hard on that every 15:20 single day and we are protecting our 15:22 service members while also restoring 15:24 peace throughout this globe uh it’s 15:26 something the previous administration 15:28 has not done and I would just add one 15:30 more point uh we are not going to be 15:32 lectured about national security uh and 15:35 American troops by question you’ll have to ask the 21:17 Democrats why they’re against so many 21:19 common sense things not just mandating 21:21 voter ID why are they against men and 21:23 women sports why are they some concern about the 22:10 frequency with which senior Trump 22:11 officials have been using the Signal app 22:14 has there been discussion where there’ll 22:16 be a review about how often they use 22:18 Signal and and if you could explain to 22:21 us how uh they might be considering 22:23 other applications to get away from 22:26 something like this happening again sure 22:28 well again first of all Signal has been 22:30 an approved app for government use it’s 22:32 an encrypted app and as I said it’s the 22:34 most uh safe and efficient way of 22:37 communicating especially when people
